No one on the planet can take the hype away from Gears of War 3 right now. Only a few weeks away from being released worldwide, EPIC Games has their sights set on having the biggest release this year. In order to consistently force our finger on the pulse of GoW3, EPIC released yet another awesome trailer (in the same vein as the original GoW3 reveal). This trailer shows… ahhh what the hell, why tell you. HERE.

Looks like everything is pretty much up shit creek for Pheonix and the gang (sounds like a sweet 70′s disco troop). There has been a lot of speculation on the final portions of the game and the same goes for the entire future of the franchice.
Gears of War 3 is set to release on Xbox 360 worldwide on Sept. 20th-22nd

You know what I like most about these games, they have integrity.
Not like a broad chested COG, but much quieter than that, much more subtle.
All the Gears of War have had an artistic vision that never died or wavered through all the “Oh yeah,” they mock “lets use another brown colour palette!” Snickering behind Epics turned back. But even though Epic may have heard the talk, they did not have a slight of faith on their vision. I fucking LOVED Gears of War when it came out, down to every last destroyed beauty; and now its all gone…
There’s nothing beautiful left on that world, everything is gone. This, this is the true mastery of the story behind GoW. Watching this trailer did to me what I expect it did to everyone else who watched it.
Their world is dead, hope is dead.
But these mother-fuckers are going down with blood and carnage dripping from their chainsaw bayonette’s; and its going to be fucking awesome.

A lot of recent games have taken a lot of flak for that whole super-brown/grey colour palette thing. That style of art direction is invariably accused of borrowing from Gears of War, though, so if anyone has the right to employ it, it’s Gears of War.
