Stephen Toulouse, Microsoft’s director of policy and enforcement for Xbox Live, announced earlier today that he will be leaving the company, as stated on his blog earlier this week.
Not citing any specific reason beyond wishing to break out of his comfort zone within Microsoft, and fully admitting that he has no idea what his future career plans will be, the man known throughout the tech world by his Xbox Live tag “Stepto” remained positive, optimistic, and above-all superlatively grateful for Microsoft throughout his years of emplyoment.
“I’d like to thank Microsoft for an unbelievable set of opportunities, an incredible education that they paid *me* to obtain, and for the opportunity to be neck deep for five years in my first love: video games.”
Toulouse is to remain on with Microsoft until Feb.15, and Microsoft has not yet announced who they plan to replace him.
